Photos: Police arrests violent Fulani herdsmen allegedly causing mayhem in Benue State

A combined security team on Tuesday, April 4th, apprehended a contingent of violent Fulani herdsmen that have been causing mayhem in Benue State. This is coming days after suspected herdsmen ainvaded Ikyoawen in Moor District, Diiv and Alaba villages of Nzaav council wards, all in Turan, Kwande local councils of Benue State. An eyewitness, who spoke to The Guardian on condition of anonymity that the marauders killed over 11 people, and destroyed houses.

ISIS mocks US: "You are bankrupt and being run by an idiot"

The Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) on Tuesday mocked the United States, by saying the country is "being run by an idiot." Reuters reports that ISIS spokesman Abi al-Hassan al-Muhajer said in a statement:

"You [the U.S.] are bankrupt and the signs of your demise are evident to every eye," . "There is no more evidence than that you being run by an idiot who does not know what Syria or Iraq or Islam is," he added.
