A combined security team on Tuesday, April 4th, apprehended a contingent of violent Fulani herdsmen that have been causing mayhem in Benue State. This is coming days after suspected herdsmen ainvaded Ikyoawen in Moor District, Diiv and Alaba villages of Nzaav council wards, all in Turan, Kwande local councils of Benue State. An eyewitness, who spoke to The Guardian on condition of anonymity that the marauders killed over 11 people, and destroyed houses.
