Apostle Suleiman Releases Statement Over Allegations He Impregnated Canadian Lover

The Omega Fire Ministries has denied that the General Overseer of the church, Apostle Johnson Suleiman has a hand in the arrest and detention of one Miss Stephanie Otobo by the police last Friday, March 3, 2017. 
A statement signed by Phrank Shaibu, Communications Manager to Apostle Suleiman also denied that there was a so-called amorous relationship between the said Miss Otobo and the General overseer.

The statement of Omega Fire Ministries was in reaction to two letters written by Lagos lawyer, Festus Keyamo demanding the same N500 million on behalf of the said lady and also accusing Apostle Suleiman of procuring policemen to intimidate and detain his client unlawfully, having earlier promised to marry her.

Ahead of a local derby in Dar es Salaam between Young Africans and Simba, two supporters signed pledges to part with their partners if their respective sides lost. Unhappily for the fan of Young Africans, he saw his side go down 2-1.

While Acting President Yemi Osinbajo was meeting with stakeholders in Edo state, a telephone call from President Muhammadu Buhari disrupted the meeting for about 3 minutes.

Earlier, protesters on Monday reportedly broke into the venue of a meeting Acting President Yemi Osinbajo was having with stakeholders in Edo state, disrupting the entire programme.
The protesters requested that the acting president leave Benin, for oil producing parts of the state in Edo creeks.

Protesters on Monday reportedly broke into the venue of a meeting Acting President Yemi Osinbajo was having with stakeholders in Edo state, disrupting the entire programme, TheCable reports.

The meeting is part of an ongoing negotiation interface with the oil producing communities in the region.

The Cable reported that it was disrupted after Usani Uguru, minister of state for Niger Delta, finished speaking.

NANS Directs Nigerian Students To Begin 3-day Prayer for Buhari

The National Association of Nigerian Students on Monday declared three days prayers for the quick recovery and early return of President Muhammadu Buhari. 

The prayer was declared by the President of NANS, Chinonso Obasi, in a statement obtained by journalists in Abuja.

According to him, Christian and Muslim students should round off the prayers during the Friday Jumat and Sunday services nationwide.

FG Tells Nigerians: Do Not Travel To United States Now

Federal government has advised its citizens against all but essential travel to the United States because of the lack of clarity on new immigration rules, the government said on Monday.

A special adviser to the president on foreign affairs, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, said in a statement that Nigerians “without any compelling or essential reasons” should consider delaying.

“In the last few weeks, the office has received a few cases of Nigerians with valid multiple-entry US visas being denied entry and sent back to Nigeria,” she said.
