Graphic: Three suicide bombers killed in foiled attacks in Borno State

Three male suicide bombers have been killed in two separate foiled attacks in Dusuma village and Muna area of Maiduguri, on Sunday, April 2.
Spokesman for the Borno Police Victor Isuku, who confirmed the incident said that two suspected male bombers hit a trailer in Alhaji Bukar Gujjari filling station around Muna garage.


"Today, at about 0438hours, two male suicide bombers detonated Improvised Explosive Devised (IED) strapped to their bodies near Alhaji Bukar Gujari Filling station in Muna Garage area at the entrance of Maiduguri. All the bombers died instantly without killing anybody," Isuku said, adding that only a truck was damaged by the explosive. 
"Another suicide bomber detonated his in Dusuma village killing himself and injuring another person who tried to stop him. 
"Also at Dusuma village in Jere LGA, a suicide bomber detonated IED strapped on him , killing himself, while one person was injured," Isuku added.
