Ondo: Mimiko Formally Hands Over To Rotimi Akeredolu

Ahead of his inauguration today Friday, outgoing governor Dr Olusegun Mimiko, on Thursday formerly handed over the instrument of authority to the incoming governor, Mr Rotimi Akeredolu.

The event held Thursday evening in Akure, the state capital, amidst tight security. 

Part of Mimiko’s last functions was the appointment of Idowu Ologunagba as the substantive rector of the state-owned Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo.

Mimiko also approved the appointment of Prof. Sunday Ogunduyile, as the Vice Chancellor, State University of Science and Technology, Okitipupa.
