Photos: Female Editor abducted in Benue, police suspect an insiders role

Female Editor with Radio Benue, Jill Iyuadoo Tor-Agbidye, was kidnapped by five unidentified gunmen at her home in Makurdi, Benue state Friday December 2nd. According to the daughter of the victim, the gunmen who came in an Ash colored Suzuki jeep, broke through the window at her mother's bedroom and took her away.


The abductors ransacked her room in search of valuables before taking her away.
The state police commissioner, Bashir Makama, visited the scene of the abduction this afternoon. He said preliminary investigations show that the abduction.

"What I have seen here is mere internal arrangement to siphon funds".
The abductors are yet to contact her family.
