Akwa Ibom state governor, Emmanuel Udom, narrowly escaped death today as the building of the Reigners Bible Church collapsed, killing over 50 worshipers. The governor who was in the church as a special guest of honor, was whisked away as the temporary structure of the church gave way. The bodies of the deceased worshipers have been deposited at the mortuary. The church's main structure is still under construction. See more photos from the sad incident after the cut...
