Prince Alexander, Duke of Södermanland was as good as gold during his star-studded christening at Drottningholm Palace Church in Sweden today (9 September).
The fifth-in-line to the throne – who was born in April – debuted his cherubic face and angelic behaviour during the traditional ceremony. The five-month-old prince wore the same christening gown worn by Prince Gustaf Adolf in 1906 as his mother, Princess Sofia, carried him into the church.
Sofia Hellqvist, Duchess of Värmland, looked groomed to perfection in a beautiful two-piece custom made white lace outfit by Ida Sjöstedt.
The 31-year-old styled her elegant look with a statement pearl headband while keeping her hair tied back in her trademark, slick updo. She finished off the look with cream satin heels and couldn't stop smiling as she proudly beheld her firstborn christened by Archbishop Antje Jackelen.
