Senegalese footballer, Demba Ba returns home after undergoing leg surgery

Senegalese footballer Demba Ba has returned home after he had a surgery for his broken leg. Demba suffered a horrendous leg-break on Sunday July 17th during a match with his team, Shanghai Shenhua against bitter rivals Shanghai SIPG. Sharing this new photo on his IG page, Demba wrote
"Feels good to be back home after 10 days at the hospital. Thanks once again to everyone single one of you guys in every corner of the world . I feel blessed al hamdulillah.#shanghai #shenhua #narakumfijannah#bigblackkartal #peace #rs And i finally cut my hairs and took a proper shower

Pope Francis fell over as he arrived at the Jasna Gora shrine in front of millions of people watching around the world.

The 79-year-old Pontiff who arrived in Poland on Wednesday and will be touring various religious and cultural locations, was walking towards the altar to celebrate a mass at the southern Black Madonna shrine of Czestochowa to mark the 1,150th anniversary of the Baptism of Poland, when he took a huge tumble and fell.

John Hinckley Jr., the man who tried to kill US President ‪‎Ronald Reagan‬ in 1981, will be released from psychiatric hospital in August after 35 years. The shooting, which took place in ‪Washington‬ in March 1981, had caused the former US President and three others wounded.Hinckley was found not guilty due to the reason of insanity. He was, however, sent to psychiatric hospital for treatment.

Asari Dokubo’s first wife, Zainab dies in car crash


First wife of former Niger Delta Militant leader, Asari Dokubo, Zainab has died. She died in a car crash along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway today July 27th. A devout Muslim, Zainab is survived by her husband and four children namely Amirah, Hassan, Hussain and Osama. May her soul rest in peace, Amen
