Graphic photos: Pregnant woman, one other burn to death after Danfo somersaults, catches fire in Lagos


A commercial bus popularly known as Danfo with the registration number, KTW 479 XQ descending Maryland under bridge yesterday afternoon 7th of April, somersaulted and crashed, leaving two fish sellers completely burnt, while four other occupants of the bus sustained injuries. 
The danfo was reportedly coming from Oyingbo and was heading towards Ikeja when the accident happened.

Yesterday, we shared Donald Trump's series of Tweets in 2013 where he warned then US president Barack Obama to desist from attacking Syria because the US would gain nothing from it. 
Now that he has just launched a military airstrike against Syria, his Deputy assistant, Sebastian Gorka says that Trump's past tweets arguing against military action in Syria shouldn't be held against him because Trump wasn't president then.

Photo: Six Nigerians drug dealers sentenced to over 53 years imprisonment in South Africa


The Secunda District Court in Mpumalanga, South Africa on Wednesday, 5 April 2017, handed hefty sentences to six Nigerian nationals, who were found guilty of manufacturing and dealing in drugs.
Chibuzor Paul Ezekware, Samuel Okafor and Goodwin Addo Abunne were each sentenced to 36 years imprisonment. Henry Ulangu Ukaegby and Innocent Akuziele will spend 16 years in jail each, while Junior Okafor was sentenced to 18 months behind bars.

Over 70 angry applicants in Maiduguri on Wednesday night stormed the Nasara Computers, one of the only four registration centers in the city to protest over being registered for the upcoming Jamb examination. According to a Facebook user, Abubakar Terab, who shared the post, the students were protesting because the officials of the center were getting people who were not in the queue registered.

Operatives of the Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency (LDEA) has arrested six Nigerians for allegedly involving in selling and distributing narcotic substances.
  
The Chief of Operations of LDEA, Johntor Wole, who confirmed the arrest while speaking with journalists at the Head office of DEA in Fiama Sinkor in Monrovia, said they found 182.8g of Narcotic and Heroin worth L$ 666,960.
The Nigerian suspects include: Victor Kamara, a 37-year-old businessman who lives in Caldwell, Uzaa Kamara, a 28-year-old businessman who also lives in Caldwell, Prince Ken, a 35-year-old resident in Paynesville, Anthony Enechi, 26, Sunday Moses, 29, A constructor who lives Red Light and Iko Nso, a 30-year-old Motorcyclist.

Aftermath of US air strikes in Syria: Russia suspends agreement that prevents direct confrontation with American forces


On Thursday night/Friday morning, in response to Syrian government killing hundreds of civilians this week using chemicals, dozens of cruise missiles were fired from two American warships stationed in the Mediterranean Sea towards Shayrat airbase in the province of Homs,Syria, killing at least six of Bashar al-Assad’s troops and destroying planes, helicopters, ammunition stores and buildings.
Now, in response to what Russia has termed 'unlawful', the Russian government has announced that henceforth it has suspended the "deconfliction line" agreement signed in 2015 that prevents direct conflict/confrontation between Russian and American forces on air.
