EFCC arraigns alleged female internet fraudster for 132,000 Euro Fraud

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, today arraigned one Suzan Vega Ochuko before Justice P.I. Ajoku of the Federal High Court sitting in Benin, Edo State on a three count charge bordering on conspiracy and obtaining money by false pretence.

Ochuko and one Tony Uyimwen aka Alex Ethan (now at large) allegedly operating with a pseudo name Alex Ethan contacted one Mrs. Beatrice AUF DER MAUR from St. Gallen, Switzerland via Facebook and defrauded her of One Hundred and Thirty-Two Thousand Euro.

Tunisia sentences British DJ for playing 'Muslim call to prayer' in a club

 A British DJ has been sentenced to a year in jail by a Tunisian court after he played a dance remix of the Muslim call to prayer in a night club

DJ Dax J, who had already fled the country was charged with public indecency and offending public morality in the court case, according to a BBC report.

He was said to have performed at the Orbit Festival in a club located in the coastal city of Hammamet on Friday and caused controversy on social media after he played a remix of the Muslim call to prayer at the event. 

Truck ploughs into shop in busy Stockholm street, killing at least three and causing injury to many others

Stockholm, Sweden, has been thrown into a state of shock after a vehicle crashed into shoppers in Drottninggatan, resulting in the death of three. The truck drove into Ahlens Mall, a department store in Klarabergsgatan, crashing through the wall before it went up in flames.

According to the state NYSC Coordinator, Musa Abubakar, Anthony who is from Benue state, died shortly after playing a match with his fellow corps members.

Boy, 11, hangs himself after his girlfriend faked her own suicide in silly social media prank

An 11-year-old boy from Marquette, Michigan, has died after he was found by his mother hanging in his closet and his mother is blaming the death on a social media prank.

According to Katrina Goss, 41,  her son Tysen Benz attempted to take his life after his girlfriend faked her suicide in a twisted "social media prank.

Tysen, who has been described as an active, athletic kid, attempted to commit suicide on March 14 but his mother found him and, together with her other sons, she performed CPR on him while awaiting the ambulance. He eventually died in the University of Michigan's hospital in Ann Arbor this Tuesday after being on life support for three weeks.
