PDP Senate Caucus Appoints New Spokesperson

The Senate Caucus of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has named Sen. Enyinnaya Abaribe as its spokesman. 

In a statement issued to newsman, the caucus said Abaribe is now its official voice, adding that henceforth every decision of the caucus would be conveyed to the public through him.

PDP Crisis: Modu Sheriff Storms out of Meeting With Jonathan

Ali Modu Sheriff on Thursday reportedly stormed out of a meeting organized by Ex President Goodluck Jonathan to solve the leadership crisis plaguing the PDP. 

According to a Vanguard report, Modu Sheriff maintained his stance that he must continue as the chairman of the party while others disagreed. Governors Nyesom Wike, Ayo Fayose and the national assembly caucus insisted that he must step down to allow for a neutral person to lead the party to the convention.

Nigeria: Scarcity of Passport Booklet Now Over

The Presidency has announced that the scarcity of passport booklet, which had plagued immigration agencies nationwide for the past 3 weeks, is now over. 

Passport Booklets are now available, Comptroller General of Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Mohammed Babandede, said.

According to him, the Nigeria immigration agency is now working to domesticate production of the booklets. 

Atiku Commends Emir Sanusi For Promoting Girl Child Education
