Ini Edo's Night Club Allegedly Shut Down

Mimz Club, Bar and Lounge in Lekki area of Lagos, owned by popular Nollywood Actress Ini Edo has allegedly been shut down. 

According to report, the club which was launched in September 2015 recently closed shop following poor management by unnamed persons who reportedly fell out with the Nollywood actress.

ICPC Withdraws N1.97bn Fraud Charge Against Orubebe

Former Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Mr. Godsday Orubebe, has been discharged and acquitted of a N1.97bn fraud. 

He, and other defendants were accused of diverting funds meant for the compensation of owners of properties on Eket Urban section of the East-West Road in Eket, Akwa Ibom State.

Naira Bounces Back, Appreciates Against Dollar at Parallel Market

The Nigerian Naira on Tuesday appreciated against the dollar at the parallel market.

The currency exchanged for N390 per dollar as against N395 it went for a greenback on Monday.

The currency closed steady against the Pound sterling and Euro at 480, 415 respectively at the black market side on Tuesday.

At the official market, the currency appreciated by 0.02% against the dollar to close at 306.25.

According to Arsenal Manager, Arsene Wenger, finishing top four in the premier league is a trophy. 

He made the statement during a press briefing on Tuesday. “It’s a good challenge [reaching the top four]" he said.

Mombasa sex workers are currently holding demonstrations protesting mistreatment by clients after their colleague was allegedly murdered by a client last weekend.
The unnamed commercial sex worker was found dead by workers who came to clean the room last Saturday. Her colleagues said they last saw her entering the hotel with a man the previous evening. 

Seun Egbegbe implicates younger brother in his criminal case, as Police amends charges

Lawal Kareem, who is reportedly the younger brother of Nollywood producer, Seun Egbegbe has been arrested alongside two others, Olalekan Yusuf, and Muyideen Shoyombo after they were implicated by Egbagbe, alleging that they took part in carrying out criminal activities with them.

Seun Egbegbe who was arrested with one Oyekan Ayomide in February for attempting to dupe Alhaji Isa Adamu pleaded not guilty to a 40-count charge when they were arraigned. They have since been held in prison custody as they were unable to perfect their bail condition.
