Photos: South African man killed by robbers three weeks after his wedding


The general manager of an Edleen Dairy shop died in hospital on Friday morning, March 31, after being shot during an armed robbery in Midland, Geuteng,  South Africa on Thursday night, March 30.

Dyke Motsepa tied the knots with his wife Kido Nyareli on March 11th.
He succumbed to his injuries, a bullet wound to the stomach, while being treated at Tembisa Hospital.

Woman allegedly abandons her child by the roadside in Delta state after being told by a pastor that she is a snake

A woman who lives in Delta state, dumped her baby by the roadside after being told by a pastor that the child was possessed by snake spirit. The mother whose name was given as Amara Emeka revealed that she abandoned her child because she did not have the N52,000 requested by the pastor to cast out the demon.

Breaking! At least 10 people killed in St Petersburg metro blast in Russia

At least 10 people have been killed and 30 people injured, including children, in an explosion at a metro station in St Petersburg, the second biggest state in Russia. The explosion ripped through a passenger train carriage at a time when the metro station was very busy. Officials say they believe it is a terrorist attack. More details later...

Fuel scarcity looms as Petroleum tanker Drivers begin strike today


Another period of fuel scarcity looms as authorities of the Petroleum Tanker Drivers PTD have directed their members to begin an indefinite strike starting from today April 3rd.

National Chairman of PTD, Salimon Oladiti, has instructed members of the association to shut all loading depots and fuel terminals until further notice.
