Photos: EFCC arraigns Femi Adesina impersonator


The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC on Thursday, March 16, arraigned one Christian Efe Oyovweyho alias Femi Adesina before Justice Z.B Abubakar of the Federal High Court Kano on a two count charge of Obtaining by False Pretence.

The defendant allegedly impersonated the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to President Muhammad Buhari, Femi Adesina and attempted to obtain the sum of N300,000 (Three Hundred Thousand Naira ) from a Professor of Economics at Bayero University Kano, Dalhatu Mohammed Galadanci. 

More reactions trail Chimamanda Adichie's comment about transgender women even after she makes clarification


Over the weekend there was quite an uproar following acclaimed Writer Chimamanda Adichie's interview with Channel 4 News. During the interview, the outspoken feminist when asked if a transgender woman was "any less of a real woman", she replied: "trans women are trans women."

Her statement was taken out of context and a lot of people attacked, one of whom was Nigerian-born Transgender, Miss Sahhara.

Mushumbi villagers in Zimbabwe dissected a crocodile after the aquatic reptile swallowed an 8-year-old boy at the Hunyani river on Monday.
According to bulawayo24, the crocodile was shot on Tuesday and was then cut open and the young boy's remains were found in the beast's stomach. The remains were buried on Wednesday. More photos and the disturbing video after the cut...

President Buhari has vowed not to rest until he addresses all issues affecting Nigerians.
