Why Rojo Asked For Banana During Rostov Match - Mourinho

Manchester United boss, Jose Mourinho has explained why defender Marcos Rojo was seen eating a banana, during their 1-0 win over FC Rostov in the Europa League on Thursday night. 
Mourinho sourced for the fruit after the player asked for it and gave it to substitute Ashley Young to pass it on to Rojo.

Speaking afterwards, the manager told BT Sport: “I know what is the body limits and when the body is needing anything, anything.

“The player asks for a banana. It is not to laugh at all. It is to respect the players and their limits, they give everything.”

King Of Morocco Calls President Buhari For Second Time In 3 Weeks

King Mohammed VI of Morocco has called Nigeria's President again, after his March 1 call to ask about Buhari’s health during his vacation in London. This time, Mohammed called to congratulate President Muhammadu Buhari on his successful return from a medical vacation in London.

Mr Femi Adesina, the president’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, said the King congratulated Buhari via telephone conversation on Thursday. 

Crude Oil Discovered In Large Quantity In Niger

Large quantity of crude oil have been discovered in Bida Basin, Northern Niger state in Nigeria.

The Head of Research and Development, Ibrahim Badamasi Babaginda (IBB) University, Lapai in Niger State, Prof. Nuhu Obaje, made this known yesterday, at the exhibition of raw materials and local products, held at Landmark Centre, Victoria Island.

He disclosed that the institution had made its findings known to both the Federal Government as well as the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).

El-Rufai Returns To School, 'Leaves Governance For Deputy'

The Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai has commenced receiving lectures as a part-time PhD student of Philosophy in Governance and Policy Analysis at the United Nations University-Merit, Netherlands.

This is a confirmation that Governor El-Rufai, is not ill and flown abroad for medical attention as being peddled in some quarters.

An online publication by the University dated March 7, 2017 at 8:23pm noted that the university had received new intakes and among them was el-Rufai.

President Buhari Orders Fresh Paris Club Loan Refund To States

President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday directed the Minister of Finance, Mrs. Kemi Adeosun, and the Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele, to immediately release the second tranche of the London-Paris Club loan refund to states.
He said the presidential order should be carried out “appropriately and with dispatch.”
The President, who returned to the country on Friday from his 49-day medical vacation, also turned down advice by state governors to take more rest.
Buhari said he would not take any further rest until he had addressed all issues affecting Nigerians.

The Movement for the Actualization of Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) has cautioned the chief of army Staff (COAS), Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai, to stop to stop making inflammatory statements about the Biafra struggle.
MASSOB gave the caution in reaction to statement credited to the army chief that the agitation of Biafra was a waste of time and that Biafra will never be actualised.
The Delta south zone of the group in a statement by the coordinator of Delta South MASSOB, Joseph Odikpo, criticized the army chief, insisting that their demand has come to stay, The Sun reports.
