President Buhari calls former head of state, Yakubu Gowon, condoles with him on the death of his sister

President Buhari yesterday commiserated with former Head of State, General Yakubu Gowon (rtd), over the passing away of his younger sister, Kande Martha Audu. 79 year old Kande Audu died yesterday March 5th. The President, who called from London, extended his deepest condolences to General Gowon and his family, urging them to take solace in the fact that Mrs. Audu lived a worthy and exemplary life.

Festus Keyamo says his client, Stephanie Otobo, Apostle Suleman's alleged sidechic, has been rendered incommunicado, after the news broke of her alleged affair with the pastor. Speaking exclusively with LIB today, Keyamo said Suleman is a liar for saying Stephanie was a stripper and that he sent her money just to help her stop prostitution.

He alleged that Stephanie was given something to drink to terminate her pregnancy. According to Keyamo, Stephanie has been taken to an unknown destination and might be forced to retract her statement...

Court convicts former governor, Bala Ngilari, for N167.8 million fraud

Former Governor of Adamawa State, Barr. James Bala Ngilari who was prosecuted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC on a 17 count criminal charge bordering on award of contract without due process to the tune of N167.8 million while in office, was today convicted by Justice Nathan Musa of the Adamawa State High Court sitting in Adamawa.

Gunmen Assassinate Chief Imam in Edo State

The Chief Imam of Egbeta mosque in Ovia North-East Local Government Area of Edo State has been murdered. 

According to a report from the Punch, Mallam Saka Afolabi, was on his way to the mosque with two sons when he was accosted by three suspected assassins who shot him dead at point-blank range. 

One of his sons, Mutiu, said:
