Kemi Olunloyo, daughter of former Oyo state Governor has accused Nollywood actress Agnes Okorie of collecting $1.5Million from exiled Gambian President Yahya Jammeh. 

Kemi who is known for her very controversial posts made the claim on Instagram. She wrote, “The depth of high class prostitution of our #Nollywood ladies has reached alarming heights. While #AngelaOkorie fans are busy yapping me for calling her a call girl, they don’t understand my form of investigative journalism. No fear, favors or bribes.

On Wednesday, an Igbosere Magistrates’ Court, Lagos sentenced a bank cashier, David Anibolu, to four years’ imprisonment for stealing N9, 308,000 from a customer’s First Bank of Nigeria (FBN) Plc account.
Chief Magistrate A. O. Awogboro convicted him of stealing. Before sentencing, the convict’s counsel Philips Onyama made an allocutus for his client and pleaded for a sentence of a fine, or a lenient jail term. .

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has been given a four-match touchline ban and £25,000 fine after accepting a Football Association charge of misconduct for his behaviour in the win over Burnley.

Wenger, 67, was charged with verbally abusing and pushing fourth official Anthony Taylor after being sent off.

He misses Saturday's FA Cup tie against Southampton and Premier League games against Watford, Chelsea and Hull.

First Death Row Prisoner Under Donald Trump's Presidency Executed


The first Death Row prisoner under Donald Trump 's presidency has been executed despite last minute appeals he did not pull the trigger.

Terry Edwards, 43 aka the Subway Murderer was killed by lethal injection in Texas at 10:17pm, last night.

The inmate was executed for killing two sandwich shop employees during a robbery in 2002 after the Supreme Court denied a stay requests.

Terry's lawyers argued both that he was not the trigger man and that his case was tainted by prosecutorial misconduct in arguments that held up the execution by four hours.

20 APC Senators set to join PDP - Godswill Akpabio claims


The Minority Leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the Senate and former Akwa Ibom State Governor, Godswill Akpabio, has said that about 20 senators from the All Progressives Congress (APC) are planning to defect to the PDP once peace returns to the party.

Akpabio, who stated this on Thursday, at the opening of the National Executive Committee (NEC) and expanded caucus of the PDP, held at the International Conference Centre, Abuja, said that despite some defections that hit the party recently, PDP senators in the National Assembly are still intact and very supportive of the party.
