Omega Fire Ministry Releases Statement After Near Arrest Of Founder


The Omega Fire Ministry has issued a statement on the attempted arrest of its founder, Apostle Johnson Suleiman in the early hours of this morning. The statement was jointly issued by Dr. Sule Emmanuel, senior pastor, OFM South Africa Churches and Director of Media (OFM Worldwide), Barrister Samuel Amune Esq, Coordinator, OFM Legal Team Worldwide. 

This is to inform the millions of followers and supporters of Apostle Johnson Suleman all over the world that the man of God is very safe, and that the attempted arrest by the Department of State Security on the man of God on the instruction and orders of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari was unsuccessful.

Madonna Appears In High Court In Malawi To Apply To Adopt Two More Children


Pop superstar Madonna has filed for the adoption of two more children from Malawi, it has emerged.The 58-year-old singer appeared before a High Court judge in the capital Lilongwe on Wednesday to make the application.

Madonna appeared before Justice Fiona Mwale amid tight security, accompanied by two unidentified children and several other people, before being driven away in an SUV vehicle.

Rihanna Spotted Filming Dramatic Heist Scenes Alongside Sandra Bullock For All-Female Movie Ocean's 8


Rihanna , 28, is the latest celebrity to be spotted filming heist scenes for the all-female sequel to George Clooney's 2001 crime romp, Ocean's Eleven .

Wearing an all-in-one unflattering navy boiler suit, huge hoop earrings and chunky dreadlocks, the singer joined fellow cast members Sandra Bullock and Sarah Paulson on a rainy shoot day in New York.

The pictures see the trio filming some sort of heist scene that involved Rihanna fleeing from a white transit van in exciting scenes.

The lure of the all-female cast is clearly something Rihanna is extremely passionate about.

A security guard attached to the College of Education Ankpa, was today, arrested by security agents for stealing phones at Kogi State Government House.

Mallam Aliyu Musa allegedly stole two phones belonging to a staff of the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Edward Onoja. He was captured by CCTV camera within the office of the Chief of Staff at the government house.

EFCC’s Forfeiture Case Against Diezani Adjourned Till Feb 16


A Federal High Court sitting in Lagos, yesterday, adjourned till February 16, to deliver judgment in the suit by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC,) seeking forfeiture of funds linked to a former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Diezani Allison-Madueke.

Trial judge, Justice Muslim Hassan, adjourned for judgement after hearing arguments from counsel representing parties in the suit.
