Sunday.Administrators with the Florida Department of Children & Families confirmed that both child welfare administrators and the Miami Gardens Police Department are investigating her death. One of Nakia’s friends who watched the live feed, tried to talk her friend out of going out ahead with the suicide but she failed to stop Nakia. Nakia reportedly tied her scarf to a shower-glass door frame to hang herself. The friend who tried to stop her called Miami-Dade Police. Officers showed up at the friend’s house but the address was wrong, the residents at that address were able to give police the correct address of her foster home in Miami Gardens. She was pronounced dead at a local hospital. “We are absolutely horrified and devastated by the news of this young girl's death,” said DCF Secretary Mike Carroll. “We will do everything we can to support this family and all those who cared for her as they begin to heal from this tragedy. We will conduct a comprehensive, multidisciplinary special review to examine this child’s history and the circumstances related to serving the child.”

Operatives from the Department of State Security on Wednesday morning stormed Midas Hotel, Iworoko, Ado-Ekiti, to effect man of God, Apostle Johnson Suleman’s arrest. 2017 UTME: JAMB, NECO, WAEC, NABTEB harmonise Time-table

Ahead of 2017 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has agreed on a harmonized timetable with other examination bodies in the country to have a hitch free examination.

The Board at a brainstorming meeting with National Examination Council (NECO), West African Examination Council (WAEC) and National Business and Technical Examination (NABTEB) held at the national headquarters of the Board in Abuja unanimously agreed to harmonize the examination timetable because of the candidates desire for qualitative tertiary education.

17-year-old girl pleads guilty to stabbing woman multiple times, 'just for the fun of it'

Pearl Moen, a 17 year old teenager, stabbed an innocent 23-year-old woman, just 'for the fun of it'. The teenager hid in the bushes inside Hyde Park in Austin, Texas, then jumped out when her victim approached, stabbing her 21 times with a knife with the intention of killing her.

An entry in Pearl's diary hours after the attack revealed that Pearl didn't know the victim and the victim hadn't done anything to her. She wrote that she simply attacked her because she wanted to know how it felt like to kill someone.

Pearl went on to describe herself as a 'homicidal psychopath' who has a 'deep hatred towards people'.
