2017 UTME: JAMB, NECO, WAEC, NABTEB harmonise Time-table

Ahead of 2017 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has agreed on a harmonized timetable with other examination bodies in the country to have a hitch free examination.

The Board at a brainstorming meeting with National Examination Council (NECO), West African Examination Council (WAEC) and National Business and Technical Examination (NABTEB) held at the national headquarters of the Board in Abuja unanimously agreed to harmonize the examination timetable because of the candidates desire for qualitative tertiary education.

Akiode Temitope, a journalist with TVC News/Continental Broadcasting Limited Service, was beaten, following his refusal to pay a sum of money which the policemen allegedly demanded from him. He identified the policemen as Oga Jude and Akin, who are said to be notorious in the area. His driver was also injured during the incident which occurred on January 21 at Imota, Ikorodu. Chelsea Handler receives backlash for saying Melania Trump doesn't speak English

Comedian Chelsea Handler, took a swipe at the US First Lady Melania Trump, saying that she couldn't speak English, in an interview with Variety, after she led the women's march on Saturday.

During the Saturday, January 21, video interview with Variety’s Elizabeth Wagmeister, Chelsea ridiculed the idea of sitting down with either the POTUS, Dnald Trump or his Slovenian-born wife, Melania for her Netflix talk show.She said:

17-year-old girl pleads guilty to stabbing woman multiple times, 'just for the fun of it'

Pearl Moen, a 17 year old teenager, stabbed an innocent 23-year-old woman, just 'for the fun of it'. The teenager hid in the bushes inside Hyde Park in Austin, Texas, then jumped out when her victim approached, stabbing her 21 times with a knife with the intention of killing her.

An entry in Pearl's diary hours after the attack revealed that Pearl didn't know the victim and the victim hadn't done anything to her. She wrote that she simply attacked her because she wanted to know how it felt like to kill someone.

Pearl went on to describe herself as a 'homicidal psychopath' who has a 'deep hatred towards people'.
