FG to BBOG: Stick to your advocacy role


The Federal Government has urged the Bring Back Our Girls Group to see it (government) as a partner rather than an adversary in the group's quest to secure the release of the Chibok girls. In a statement released today, the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, said the BBOG's continued portrayal of the government as an adversary and the needless firing of darts at the President, who is doing his utmost best to bring the girls back home safely, are ultimately counter-productive.

Jose Mourinho says he won't stop Wayne Rooney from joining 'mega money' Chinese club


Man Utd coach Jose Mourinho has revealed that he is ready to let Man U legend Wayne Rooney - who is now the club's highest goalscorer with 250 goals, join China in a mouth watering deal if the England/Man U captain decides to leave. According to Mourinho, Rooney's service to an U has distinguished him and affords him the opportunity to end his glorious career the best way he deems fit.
The United captain's contract expires in 2019 and clubs in China are circling, willing to make him the highest paid player in world football, with Mourinho saying he won't begrudge Rooney a  last minute Chinese pay day 

David Beckham returns to former club, PSG (photos)


PSG football club of France on Monday afternoon took to their Twitter account to announce that former Man U, Ac Milan, Real Madrid footballer, David Beckham has returned to Psg, where he was presented with a number 32 shirt – the same number he wore in his PSG playing days. Kenyan football fan stabbed to death over Manchester City vs Tottenham Hotspur match


Kenyan football fan was stabbed to death following the match between Tottenham Hotspur vs Manchester City on Saturday, January 21, 2017. The fan was killed by a rival after an argument erupted while they were watching the match at a bar in Maringo, Kenya. He is said to have been stabbed several times by the rival fan
Buru Buru police boss, Joseph Maiyek confirmed the incident, saying the assailant escaped after the killing his rival. he said a manhunt has been launched for the killer.
According to nyumbanitv, the body of the football fan has been taken to the City Mortuary for preservation.
