Indian authorities seize over Rs58 lakh from Nigerian man at Delhi airport (photo)


Indian authorities seized over Rs 58 lakh (around $85,000) from a Nigerian national identified as one Tochukwu Chijioke, who was travelling to Coimbatore on at the Delhi airport.

Of the total cash seized, almost Rs 54 lakh, was in the newly introduced Rs 2000 & Rs 500 currency notes, while the remaining Rs 4 lakh was in discontinued high-value notes of Rs 500 and Rs 1000.

Tochukwo Chijioke was identified by CISF personnel present at the Indira Gandhi International Airport on December 23.

Bala Chinda who murdered Jessica Nkechi McGraa is the son of a Nigerian diplomat

Bala Chinda, who was sentenced to 18 years in prison on Friday for the rape and murder of Nigerian high class escort, Jessica Nkechi McGraa is also a Nigerian, according to Scottish Press.

Chinda's father works at the Nigerian embassy in Beijing. The 26-year-old killed Ms McGraa only a few weeks after arriving in Scotland to study at Robert Gordon University.
Her body was found partially clothed on 12 February 2016, in the bedroom of the Aberdeen flat she rented. CCTV footage revealed that she had travelled to Chinda's student accommodation on King Street with him in a taxi the previous evening, before they returned to her apartment a short time later. George Michael's former lover claims the late singer was 'hooked on sex drugs'

Paul Stag, a former lover of late singer George Michael, claims he was addicted to a sex drug which led to his death. Stag who dated George for nine years from 2004 after they met through a gay magazine said he often supplied him with Liquid G, a sleeping drug also known as chems and GHB.

He believes the drug was in George's system when he died aged 53 on Christmas Day.
