Photos: Little girl who was tortured and caged by her family in Akure over allegations of witchcraft, makes remarkable progress


The little girl pictured above, was tortured, left to starve for days and then caged like a dog by her family members who believed she was a witch. She was found by some members of the public in Akure, Ondo state and the police was alerted. She was rescued by the police and has been in the police custody since then. Accidental airstrike in Rann was the second military error in two weeks- Int'l Center for Investigative reporting says


According to a new report by the Center for Investigative reporting, the accidental airstrike at an IDP camp in Rann, Borno state that killed over 100, was the second of such military errors in two weeks. According to the report, an erroneous gunfire by some soldiers in Borno state had killed over 30 IDPs in Gamboru Ngala in the state the previous week. 
The IDPs had gone into the bush in search for firewood to cook their meals when they were gunned down by soldiers who saw them and mistook them for Boko Haram members.

Ralph Lauren's share price climbs after Melania Trump wears the brand for Donald's inauguration


On the Eve of Donald Trump's inauguration, Ralph Lauren shares were trading at $88.20 per share. Just about an hour after Melania trump stepped out for her husband's inauguration DRESSED in a blue cashmere outfit from the brand, its share price shot up to $88.32 and at the close of markets yesterday, it was trading $88.90.

President Buhari is alive and well- Garba Shehu says as he mocks GEJ for not attending Donald Trump's inauguration


Friday evening, Senior Special Assistant to President Buhari on Media and Publicity, Shehu Garba, got on twitter to dispel rumors that President Buhari had passed on at a hospital in Germany. President Buhari is currently on a medical vacation in the UK.While dispelling the rumor, Garba took a jab at former President Goodluck Jonathan whom his supporters on social media had alleged had been invited by the US President, Donald Trump's inauguration organizing team, to attend the inauguration. Video:Secret Service to investigate Madonna after she says she wants to blow up the White House at women's march


The Secret Service has reportedly said they will open an investigation into Madonna due to the inciting message she made at the Women's March in Washington on Saturday. Madonna took the stage and cursed out a lot of people including Donald Trump then she said she had thought about 'blowing up the White House' but knew that it 'wouldn't change anything'. Madonna dropped the f-bomb several times causing a slew of apologies from broadcasters airing the protest live. She went on to speak of her rage at the election result and cursing up some more. Former Gambian President, Yahya Jammeh, Friday night proceeded on exile to Guinea. He left the country in company of his wife and Guinean president, Alpha Conde. This brings to an end his 22 years in power. Adama Barrow who is his successor would return to the country to properly assume office after he was sworn in at the Gambian Embassy in Senegal on Thursday.
