Chelsea coach Antonio Conte breaks record, wins 3rd consecutive EPL manager Of the month award


Antonio Conte, Chelsea's coach has been rewarded for his team's excellent run in the last month after he was given the EPL Manager of the month award for December. With this award, Conte is officially the first manager to win the ward three months in a row, following his award wins in October, November and December.

The Italian, beat off competition from Tottenham’s Mauricio Pochettino and Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp, to pick up the award. After receiving the award, Conte said:

"I’m very proud," he tells Chelsea's official website.

American singer, Joe, allegedly abused his ex-girlfriend, new claims surface


Reports have surfaced claiming that Joseph Lewis Thomas AKA Joe, was violent towards his girlfriend, Michele, while they were dating. 

A website, Lipstickalley.com, claim to have reached out to Joe's manager and got a response from her confirming the allegations against Joe.

According to her;

 "He did beat her. Like many victims of domestic violence, she keeps it a secret from everyone including her family."

Photos: Scores injured as Hausa scrap dealers allegedly attack residents of Itiam Etoi community, Akwa Ibom


Three persons are feared dead and scores injured following clashes involving Hausa/Fulani scavengers and local residents of Itiam Etoi community in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. 

According to an eyewitness who spoke to The Guardian, the problem started on Tuesday night when a Hausa scrap dealer carrying a generator in a wheelbarrow was accosted by some local residents, who asked him for settlement. 

When he refused, a minor misunderstanding led to a brawl and forced a reprisal attack from the Hausa/Fulani settlers in the area.

Ex-marine mother kills her 9-year-old daughter and herself



46-year-old Ericka Bellamy Joseph and her 9-year-old daughter, Akili Joseph, were found dead at their home in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in what is believed to have been a murder-suicide.

Though no one was there to witness the incident, Ericka Bellamy who used to be in the marine is believed to have killed her daughter before taking her own life.


A Neighbour reported that her attitude had been a little off of late and another said they saw her closing the hurricane shutter in the middle of the night despite the fact that there was no hurricane warning. Not long after, they claim they heard screams, like someone was in pain, and then a gunshot.

Ex-boyfriend of Miss Italy beauty queen throws acid in her face, scarring her for life

A 28 year old 'Miss Italy' beauty queen, Gessica Notaro was rushed to the hospital this week after her ex-lover Jorge Edson Tavares, 29, allegedly threw acid on her face while she was at home in Rimini, Italy.
She suffered deep burns on her legs, hips, face, and hands and will require extensive plastic surgery according to the doctors in the hospital.
According to media sources in Italy, police issued Tavares a harassment order last summer after they broke up, but upon arrest by police, Tavares claimed he wasn't responsible for the attack.
The pair reportedly met in an aquarium in Rimini, Italy when she was working as a dolphin trainer.
Speaking to the Standard, Patrizia Mirigliani, a patron and organiser of the Miss Italy contest, said:
‘There can be no greater crime than defacing a person’s face in order to erase her identity, her beauty, her smile. These are outrageous attacks which keep being repeated.’

Illegal Immigrants escape from Police Custody in South Africa

South African Police Service is presently hunting for a group of illegal immigrants that escaped from the Department of Home Affairs transport vehicle. The illegal immigrants reportedly escaped custody at the Mooi River Toll Plaza in KwaZulu-Natal Midlands this morning.
Police spokesperson, Lieutenant Colonel Thulani Zwane confirmed the story, saying the prisoners ‘were being transferred by Home Affairs officials from Ladysmith to Pietermaritzburg.
