Photos from IK Ogbonna's surprise birthday party

Nollywood actor and model, IK Ogbonna, who was a year older on Wednesday Jan. 11, was treated to a surprise birthday party at the Intercontinental Hotel in Lagos.

The guest list included Alex Ekubo, Rukky Sanda, Yomi Casual, Mike Godson, Ini-dima okojie, Monalisa Omorodion, Nikky Ufondu, Chioma Nwachukwu and Mr.Divine Obiwulu of Vine Morris distributions among others.
The surprise party was put together by Dorco shaving sticks and his wife, Sonia Morales, who is currently in Europe.

Cameroonian National arrested with fake gold and US Dollars worth over Sh1 Billion in Kenya

Doctta Peter Longa, a Cameroonian national was on Tuesday deported to his country after he was found with fake gold and US currency worth over Sh1 billion in Nairobi.

According to Nairobi Wire, he was pulled over by police when they caught him with fake currency.
In his failed attempt to bribe the officers, he was accompanied home where they conducted a search and seized more fake currency and 30 kg of fake gold he was planning to sell to a group of foreign businessmen at Sh120 million.

Troops of 27 Task Force Brigade stationed in Bara in Borno state, have arrested 4 suspected fleeing members of Boko Haram terrorists on Wednesday afternoon.

The names of the suspected fleeing sect members were given as Muazu Gogobir, Mamman Shuaibu, Muhammadu Muhammadu and Isah Ibrahim. Invest in Sports to reduce insecurity in your states- Dalung to state governors

Minister of Youth and Sports, Solomon Dalung, has charged the 36 state governors to invest heavily in sports development as this will help combat insecurity in their respective states. He gave the charge while speaking at the official launch of Dakinda Penalty Game in Abuja yesterday.

We are not planning to attack Gambia or any other country- Nigerian Army


The Nigerian Army released a statement denying a report by Premium Times that it was planning to send troops to Gambia to forcefully remove the incumbent President, Yahya Jammeh, who has refused to leave office despite losing in the Presidential election in December last year.
