Exclusive: Police arrest comedy crew in Lagos for making satire video criticizing members of Lord's Chosen Church


Members of a comedy crew named 'Naijas Craziest' were arrested by Police in Lagos on Tuesday, because of a satire video they did criticizing members of the Lords Chosen Charistmatic Revival Church located at Ijesha in Lagos. 

In the video, the comedians can be seen criticizing the Church members for rolling in mud on a public road, with a supposed 'Spiritual Bullet Proof' apron allegedly sold to them for 1,000 naira per piece.

They also took at a swipe at the General Overseer of the Church, Pastor Lazarus Muoka, saying he is selling the apron to his 200,000 members all over Nigeria and sending them out, while he's "chilling in his air-conditioned office."
Now the video which was uploaded via youtube on December 5th, 2016, has over 20,000 views. It has now gained the attention of the Church authorities, who filed a report with the police. (watch below)

Awele Nwokolo met Afam JohnPaul Nwokolo after he sent her a friend request on Facebook three years ago. 

Once she accepted his request and confirmed that they aren't related, as they both have same last name, he told her to send her house address and her mom's phone number because as soon as he arrived back in Nigeria, he was going to tell her  parents he's going to marry their daughter!  

Fast forward to January, 2017, he popped the question with a beautiful diamond ring. Their meeting was trailed with some coincidences...they both bear the same surname, Nwokolo, their fathers are from Asaba, Delta state and mothers from Illah, Delta state and to top it all, their grandmothers happened to be are childhood friends! #ParisRobbery: French Police release Kim Kardashian's driver and two others


As at this morning, the Paris prosecutor's office confirmed that three of the suspects in the Kim Kardashian's Paris robbery have been released. Kim's chauffeur and 16 others were detained Monday during raids across France.

The driver has been released along with two others as the investigation continues into the armed robbery of the reality star in October 2016.


According to the prosecutor, those held are between the ages of 23 and 73 and can be held for up to 96 hours for questioning.

Photos: Life returns to Baga community in Borno state

Baga was one of the worst hit communities by Boko Haram activities in Borno state. On January 3rd 2015, the insurgents overran a military base in Baga and massacred over 1000 people.
The attack according to some International media, can be described as Boko Haram's most deadliest attack. Many of the community residents fled the area for over two years and began to return there last year. Life as seen in these pictures appears to have been back.
