Finally, Terry G makes American trip for the first time in his career


Nigerian singer, Terry G has finally broken the American jinx and he did in good time before Donald trump’s inauguration which is in 10 days

For those who know, Terry G has many Achilles heels and one of them is traveling to America. He’s been denied at the embassy several times, but finally, the ‘Ginjah Master’ is live in God’s own country.

Since he became active in the industry 10 years ago, it’s the first time he’ll enter the country and he’s there for his first ever US Tour that’ll see him perform in a couple of states in America. 

Metuh Collapses In Church Yesterday As Trail Is Stalled


The trial of Olisa Metuh, the former National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party was on Tuesday stalled following his collapse at his Abuja church on Sunday.

His lawyer, Mr Onyechi Ikpeazu (SAN), told a Federal High Court in Abuja on Tuesday that Metuh is currently on admission at the National Hospital Abuja.

According to Ikpeazu, Metuh was rushed to the hospital after he collapsed during the Sunday service in his church in Abuja on Sunday.

During his arraignment today (Tuesday 10 January, 2017) before the Federal High Court, Abuja, leader of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB) and Director of Radio Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, engaged prison officials in a scuffle at the premises of the court but he was overpowered by the officials.

Ali Ndume removed as Senate Majority Leader, replaced by Senator Ahmed Lawan


The All Progressives Congress (APC) caucus in the upper chamber today Tuesday Jan. 10th removed Senator Ali Ndume as the Senate Majority Leader. The senators in a letter to the Senate President Bukola Saraki put forward Senator Ahmed Lawan as the replacement.

Ex-President Jonathan, denies receiving kickbacks in $1.3bn Malabu oil deal


Former President Goodluck Jonathan, has denied media reports that he received kickbacks in the $1.3bn OPL 245 oil block deal involving oil giants ENI and Royal Dutch Shell. Jonathan denied the claims in a statement signed and released by his media adviser, Ikechukwu Eze. The statement reads;

Our attention has been drawn to news reports published mostly by
online media which suggested through innuendo, rather than factual
evidence, that former President Goodluck Jonathan received kickbacks
in the $1.3bn OPL 245 oil block deal involving oil giants ENI and
Royal Dutch Shell.

Justice Binta Nyako of a Federal High Court in Abuja, this morning reportedly stormed out of the Federal High Court Abuja following the refusal of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, to be tried secretly. 

Kanu who is standing trial for treasonable offences, vehemently refused an application by the Federal government that the witnesses to testify against him should be protected.
