Actor, Tony Umez celebrates his daughter, Princess Chiamaka, on her 16th birthday today

Nollywood actor, Tony Umez, took to his Instagram page this afternoon to celebrate his daughter who turned 16-year-old today. He wrote:
Happy happy birthday to my lovely second "fruit", Princess Chiamaka Stephanie Umez. 
As you clock 16, your Mum, siblings and I decree into your life, abundant blessings and favour, success, God's Grace and Glory, His protection, provisions and Mercy. Lagos State governor, Ambode signs the 2017 budget


The 2017 Lagos State budget has been signed into law today January 9, 2017 by the governor, Akinwunmi Ambode.

 The signing was done in line with the State’s 2012-2025 Development Plan, the approved budget for 2017 is N812.998bn.
According to the Governor Ambode,

TMZ has learnt that it was a fight during Nicki Minaj's birthday vacation at Turks and Caicos that led to her break up with Meek Mill. According to an insider who spoke with the website, Nicki was angry because Meek was hanging with his friends and not paying attention to her. This led to a fight and later resulted to a breakup. Gambia crisis: Pres Buhari holds meeting with other West African leaders in Abuja (Photos)


President Buhari held a meeting with other West African leaders including Senegal President Macky Sall, Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, Sierra Leone Vice-President Victor Foh and former Ghana president John Mahama, in ABuja earlier today. 

The meeting is geared towards finding a lasting solution to the lingering political crisis in Gambia. 


The incumbent president, Yahya Jammeh, who initially conceded defeat, has vowed to remain in office and has ignored calls by West African ECOWAS leaders, the UN, EU and the U.S. to quit.

'Punishment for being infertile’ - Woman hospitalized after husband stuck rolling pin in her body

A 38-year-old woman in India almost died after her husband allegedly stuck a 40cm rolling pin inside her intestines as ‘punishment for being infertile’.
 Accompanied by her husband, she was rushed to hospital in Haldwani, India in December 2016, after complaining of severe abdominal pains and swelling.

Doctors at the Dr Sushila Tiwari Government Medical College Hospital initially tried to x-ray the woman but nothing confirmed her injuries as wooden materials cannot be identified. Eventually a team of five doctors who operated on her discovered the rolling pin inside her intestines. 

President Uhuru finally meets ailing soccer star, Joe Kadenge, to fulfill his dying wish (photos)

Retired Kenyan football star and coach, Joe Kadenge, has had his dying wish fulfilled after President Uhuru Kenyatta paid him a visit. 

In a video that went viral last week, the ailing soccer star had requested to meet with the President before he dies. (Read here)
On Sunday, January 8, 2017, after a meeting had been set up, President Uhuru Kenyatta and his wife, Margaret were accompanied by some government officials to pay Joe Kadenge a visit, at his South B Mariakani home.

Joe Kadenge, who played for Maragoli United and Abaluhya FC also presented his former club jersey and a soccer ball to the President.
