the Acting Director of Information, Office of the Chief of Defense Staff, Brig. Gen. Rabe Abubakar has declared that the army does not know whether Ex-militant leader, High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, Alias Tompolo is dead or alive, according to the DailyPost.
Brig. Gen. Abubakar made the statement during his tour of military establishments in the State. He was also at the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ Warri Correspondents’ Chapel.
Abubakar said, “I don’t know if Tompolo is dead or alive but all I know is that the Armed Forces and other security agencies are ready to mitigate the various security challenges in the Niger Delta Region.”

A Adeboye’s announcement at the Annual Ministers Thanksgiving held at the redemption camp today that the Church Nigeria is now to be led by Pastor Joseph Obayemi.
The statement clarified that the latest development is sequel to the new legal requirements set up by the Financial Regulations Council, guiding all registered churches, mosques, and CSOs.
The regulation stipulates that heads of non profit organisations like churches now have a maximum period of twenty years to lead their organizations while in retirement, they are not permitted to hand over to their families.

An 87-year-old woman has left many people in shock after she testified in church that a 30-man gang of robbers who invaded her compound on a mission to steal took to their heels after sighting a photo of the General Overseers off Winners Chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo.
Although many people have doubted the truthfulness of the story, the message has been shared on the church’s Twitter page. However, Nigerians have reacted to the story.

Believe it or not Protestants is the reason why non Christians don’t respect Christianity” someone noted.

Gabriel Ufot said the food joint called Eka Udo located on Aka road in Uyo is patronized by high and mighty and that the restaurant was said to have offered free food to its loyal customers recently. NFL fine player twice for excessive celebration (Video)

American National Football League has fined Jarvis Landry twice for excessively celebrating a touchdown.
 
The wide receiver and punt returner who featured for Miami Dolphins against New England Patriots on January 1, went through three opponents to score the first touchdown of the game.
Jarvis in his celebration, which was described 'meaningless' grabbed his crotch before ripping off his helmet and slamming it to the ground, a game which his team were later defeated 35 - 14.
 
According to Sporting News, the NFL disciplinary committee fined Jarvis $24,309 for grabbing his crotch and $24,309 for slamming his helmet after he violated the League rules.
