British Man Dies After Falling Off Breakwater On Costa Del Sol Beach

A British man has died after he fell off a breakwater at a beach on Spain's Costa del Sol. It is believed the 45-year-old man was on holiday when he apparently lost his footing while out walking at the beauty spot.

A local resident called emergency services after spotting what he thought was a man's body in the sea.

But firefighters who were called out could do nothing because their specialist maritime unit was disbanded years ago and they did not have the required resources or personnel. The incident occurred around midday on Thursday at La Malagueta beach in Malaga.

In December, a jury of three black people and nine white people found Roof guilty of hate crimes, religious obstruction and firearms violations in the June 2015 attack. Roof had pleaded not guilty.

legendary Chelsea midfielder Mikel John Obi is set to undergo a medical on Thursday as he prepares to leave the club this January on a free transfer. His contract technically only expires in the summer, but Chelsea are willing to cancel and facilitate the move.
All of that shouldn’t be surprising — Mikel’s had one foot out the door for practically the entire season — but his destination should be given his agent’s recent comments about not making a decision based on wages, especially the outrageous ones on offer from China.
