According to news flying round the internet, the passengers flight to Johannesburg, South Africa has been delayed for three days without any notice. Some however say, the flight was delayed for 10 hours, but what they all said in common was that they were left at the airport in the ‘dark’ without anyone telling them why they still had to wait for that long. A passenger however deemed it fit to get across to the manager and know why he was still waiting at the airport without boarding and a fight ensued. Other passengers also joined in the fight and beat up the manager. Police were later called to the scene. This happened yesterday. But chill, which way Arik?

Dele Alli's Double Ends Chelsea's Consecutive Wins
England star, Dele Ali scored a brace to end Chelsea's unbeaten run and to dash the hopes of the Blues in setting a new Premier League record of consecutive wins in the EPL. Chelsea had already managed 13 consecutive victories before the London derby.
Tottenham looked sharp and ahead of the Blues during play. Dele scored a header in each half to give the White Hart Lane fans all the joy and 3 points. Chelsea trailed a team by 2 goals for the first time in about 3 months.
10,000 Successful Police Applicants Begin Training

The 10,000 successful applicants into the Nigeria Police Force have started training on December 31, 2016 in various police colleges and training schools across the country. Mr Ikechukwu Ani, Public Relations Officer, Police Service Commission, PSC, who made this known, yesterday, in Abuja, said: “The decision is part of the fallout of the 18th plenary meeting of the commission in Abuja.
“The 500 recruited Cadet Assistant Superintendents of Police will be trained for 12 months at the Police Staff College, Jos, Plateau State, while the 500 Cadet Inspectors will be at the Police College, Ikeja, Lagos for their training which will also last for 12 months.
Edo Court Grants 2 Homosexuals N200, 000 Bail
An Oredo Magistrates’ Court in Benin on Wednesday granted two homosexuals, Paul Frank, 31, and Ejimofor Christian, 22, N100,000 bail each.
The Chief Magistrates, Mrs M.C. Ojobo, who granted the accused persons bail said they should provide a surety each in like sums. She said that the sureties must be civil servants working with the Edo State Government. The duo, who are facing charges bordering on conspiracy, unlawful carnal knowledge and stealing were remanded in prison on Dec. 28 for the consideration of their bail applications.
Chapecoense To Sign 20 Players After Losing Team Members In Recent Plane Crash
Brazilian side Chapecoense will sign up to 20 new players for next season and reserve shirt numbers for the players who survived a plane crash. Nineteen players and coaching staff were killed in November when their plane crashed on the way to the final of the Copa Sudamericana.
The club were awarded the trophy, with Colombian opponents Atletico Nacional given a fair play award.

Ekiti State House of Assembly (EKHA) has described the Abuja group, Coalition for Good Governance and Anti-Corruption, which called on the National Assembly to invoke the doctrine of necessity to effect the impeachment of the Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose as a group of jesters.
The House of Assembly, which reacted through the Speaker, Pastor Kola Oluwawole said “if not for their attempt at misleading the public by ascribing to themselves an underserved importance, the House would not have dignified the faceless group and its sponsors with any response, because they are ostensibly chasing shadows.”
