Heartbreaking! Apprentice With No Fixed Address Or Photo Abscond With Employer’s Children


An apprentice, identified only as Grace, has allegedly absconded with the two children of her employer, Mrs. Suliyat Azeez, in the Okokomaiko area of Lagos State.
The victims were identified as Farouk, 4; and six-year-old Kafayat.

It was learnt that Grace fled with the children on Friday, less than 24 hours after she resumed apprenticeship at their mother’s workshop on Ora Street, PPL bus stop, Okokomaiko.
It was learnt that the children had returned from school and gone to their mother’s shop.
Grace was said to have claimed she was going out to buy food and asked the children to accompany her.

Pictured! Accountant Fakes Own Kidnap, Steals Company’s $50,000


An accountant with a lubricant producing firm in Ikoyi, Lagos State, Femi Akinola, has been arrested by the police for allegedly stealing the company’s $50,000.

Punch Metro learnt that the company – Eterna Plc – had sent 30-year-old Akinola to withdraw the sum from the United Bank for Africa in the Marina area on Thursday, November 17.

On getting back to the office, he reportedly told his boss that he was kidnapped on the way from the bank, saying  his abductors dispossessed him of the money and his phones. A Punch correspondent gathered that Akinola was subsequently arrested by the police.

Buhari Congratulates Rotimi Akeredolu


President Muhammadu Buhari on Sunday congratulated the Ondo State Governor-elect, Chief Oluwarotimi Akeredolu (SAN), describing his victory at the Saturday governorship election in the state as “a well-deserved victory.”

In a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina, the President also congratulated the National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun; the Chairman of the Campaign Committee, Governor Simon Lalong of Plateau State, and all party faithful who he said put in their best and braved the odds to ensure a successful outing for the party’s candidate.

I Will Make My Next Action Known Soon- Jegede


Mr. Eyitayo Jegede (SAN), the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in yesterday’s governorship election in Ondo State has said he would soon reveal his next line of action. Eyitayo Jegede disclosed this while speaking to journalists today in Akure. He said;

“I should thank our people for their steadfastness. We are studying the situation and very soon you will know my position and my party’s position. You all know the event that led to the election, we were in court, I got judgment 48 hours to the election, our request for postponement was turned down  for the reason not known to us.”

The state Chairman of the PDP, Mr. Clement Faboyede, also said something similar, saying  the party would be meeting tomorrow (Monday) to decide their next action about the election.

Mother and son photos cause outrage on social media

These photos of Ms Lopez and her son JayChris have been making the rounds on the Internet and it's causing a lot of outrage. According to Lopez's Facebook page, she is single and has another child, a daughter, Tia. In all her Facebook and Instagram pages, there is no photo of her kissing her daughter but there are several intimate photos of her kissing her son, as far back as when he was a lot younger. Shi'ites pose a Threat to Nigeria’s Sovereignty – Nasir El-Rufai says


Kaduna state governor Nasir El-Rufai says members of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria aka Shi'ites pose a threat to the sovereignty of Nigeria if they are allowed to continue to practice their form of religion. El-Rufai who in October banned the group from holding meetings in the state, said this when he spoke with newsmen in Kaduna yesterday November 27th.

He accused the group and its leader, Ibrahim El-Zakzaky, of attempting to run a parallel government in the state. He said for many years, Shi'ite members have repeatedly harassed residents of the state who refuse to follow their religion.
