I Blocked Atiku From Becoming President, Anenih Writes In New Book

A former Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party’s Board of Trustees, Tony Anenih, said he blocked ex-Vice-President Atiku Abubakar from succeeding former President Olusegun Obasanjo.

Anenih stated this in his book, titled ‘My Life and Nigerian Politics,’ which was presented in Abuja on Saturday.

Anenih, who served as the Minister of Works and Housing between 1999 and 2002, said Abubakar became too ambitious during the build-up to the 2003 presidential election in which Obasanjo was seeking a second term.

“As a result of my preparations for Chief Obasanjo’s second tenure, I stepped on the toes of many of those who did not want him to seek a second term. These are the people I can now refer to as members of the ‘G3’. These were General Ibrahim Babangida, (ex-) Vice- President Atiku Abubakar and the (ex-) National Security Adviser, General Aliu Gwarzo.

Man spotted in Kenya as Jesus look-alike, react to crucifixion threat

The Jesus look-alike who caused a stampede after he was spotted walking barefooted in the downtown Nairobi on Wednesday, has come out to react to a crucifixion threat. Many might be assuming he is a beggar wandering around the country to seek help, but the Jesus look-alike is actually a traveler, whose name is Daniel Christos from Perth in Australia.

Friday, he took to his Facebook account to share a snapshot, where a Facebook user (Mook Carter III), hilariously said they are planning to set up a committee to get and crucify him together with two thieves.
According to Christos, he said the people have welcomed him with so much enthusiasm since arriving Kenya from Ethiopia, but became uncomfortable to walk on the street of Nairobi after seeing the hilarious threat on social media. Read his full post and see more photos of him after the cut....

Donald Trump blasts the Green Party and Hilary Clinton for election recount, says it's a scam

President-elect Donald Trump blasted the election recount on Saturday, calling it "a scam" and "ridiculous" adding that Hillary Clinton had already conceded. He said the fundraising ploy by the Green Party and its nominee, Jill Stein was just a way to make some money.
He said:

"This recount is just a way for Jill Stein, who received less than one percent of the vote overall and wasn't even on the ballot in many states, to fill her coffers with money, most of which she will never even spend on this ridiculous recount."

Jill Stein was the presidential candidate for the Green Party. She had a fundraising where she requested $2.5million for the election recount in Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania and fortunately raised over $5 million online for the recount in Wisconsin, which may begin some time next week. Then she raised her target to $7million saying that she needed the extra funds for her lawyers.
After Trump complained about the recount, he went on his twitter page and wrote:
