Toddler Who Is Unable To Cuddle Baby Brother Because Of Series Of Surgeries, Hugs Doll Of Him (Photos)

A little girl who desperately wants to give her baby brother a cuddle has to make do with tenderly taking care of a replica doll of him, while he recovers from a heart transplant.

Nora Dolan, 2, carries the doll of “baby Henry” with her everywhere, having never been able to hug her brother after he was born six months ago.

Baby Henry was born 12 weeks early and was diagnosed with two serious heart conditions. He has been very unwell and his sisters, who desperately want to hug him, have to wait until he comes home.

He needed life-saving surgery in order to survive and is now recovering.

Nora is staying at home with her older sister Ava, while their mum is with baby Henry in hospital. As they can’t be with him, the sisters were given a specially made doll which has tubes attached and a wire fixed to its chest.

The unpleasant prostitutes who only operates in fear while running their trade with clients says the need for legalizing prostitution will enable them work in the morning, afternoon and evening without being harassed by security personnel.

Speaking in an interview with Shaft FM, Mama Sweet, a representative of the Adansi-Obuasi sex workers said:

‘We want government to legalise prostitution by giving us licenses to operate, so that we can work morning, afternoon and evening. Some of us were introduced into prostitution by our friends due to lack of financial support from family members.’

IPOB condemns release of killers of Igbo woman in Kano

The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has condemned the release of the five suspects who allegedly murdered 74 year old Igbo trader, Mrs Bridget Aghaneme, at Kofar Wambai Market in Kano over alleged blasphemy. The Kano Magistrate Court had on Thursday November 3rd, released the five suspected killers, Dauda Ahmed, Abdulmumeen Mustafa, Zubairu Abubakar, Abdullahi Abubakar and Musa Abdullahi, on the advise of the state Attorney General who argued that there was no evidence against the suspects and so they are innocent and should be freed.

IPOB’s Media and Publicity Director, Comrade Emma Powerful, in a statement released yesterday, said the release of the men was an action in bad taste. He questioned the power of the magistrate court to release murder suspects.

Rescued Chibok girl handed over to Borno state Govt, reveals how her Boko Haram predator was killed

Newly rescued Chibok girl Maryam Ali Maiyanga and her 10-month-old son have been handed over to the Borno state government. Maryam was rescued near Pulka in Gwoza local government area of Borno state yesterday morning by troops. Speaking during the handing over, the Theatre Commander of Operation LAFIYA DOLE,  Major Gen. Lucky Irabor said Maryam had informed them that her predator and father of her son, was killed in one of the military operations at Sambisa forest.

Another soldier killed, women and children rescued as troops clears Boko Haram terrorists out of Chukungudu Lake Chad fringes

Troops of 7 Division Nigerian Army, Operation Lafiya Dole, led by the General Officer Commanding of the Division, Brigadier General Victor Ezugwu, conducted a decisive clearance operation into the remnants of Boko Haram strategic hub town of Chukungudu on the southern fringes of the Lake Chad Region, northern parts of Borno State between Friday 4th and Saturday 5th November 2016. 

According to a statement signed by Army spokesman, Col. Sani Usman, the maneuvering Brigade led by 3 Battalion of 22 Brigade, successfully cleared Geram, Bulankassa and Chukungudu believed to be the Boko Haram terrorists stronghold in that area. The gallant troops rescued 85 people, comprising of mostly women and children held hostage by insurgents.
