National Judicial Council suspends 7 senior judges accused of corruption


The National Judicial Council, NJC, has suspended seven senior judges arrested on October 7th by the State Security Service over allegations of corrupt practices. The judicial body had initially refused to suspend the accused judges but resolved to suspend them after the council’s meeting which took place between yesterday November 2nd and today November 3rd.

The suspension of the affected judges is contained ‎ in a communique issued at the end of the meeting, and signed by NJC’s Director of Information, Soji Oye.

Kim and Kanye have fired longtime bodyguard Pascal Duvier one month after Paris robbery


Just one month after Kim K was robbed in her Paris hotel by a group of men who made off with $11million worth of jewels, the bodyguard who was tasked to take care of her, Pascal Duvier, has been sacked. Pascal, who has been with the Kardashian family since 2012, was reportedly sacked this week by Kim and her husband, Kanye.
According to Entertainment Tonight, Pascal wasn't the only one who was let go. "Pascal, along with a couple other security members of their team, were recently let go by Kim and Kanye. It's a pretty tough situation overall and they love Pascal, but they couldn't take any more chances.' a source told ET. Kim now moves around with off-duty police officers.

Court frees all suspects accused of killing Christian woman, Bridget Agbahime, over blasphemy in Kano


The five suspected killers of 74 year old Mrs. Bridget Agbahime, the Christian woman who was murdered for allegedly making a blasphemous statement at Kofar Wambai Market in Kano state on June 2nd, have been released.

The Chief Magistrate of the Kano Magistrate Court, today discharged all the five suspects namely Dauda Ahmed, Abdulmumeen Mustafa, Zubairu Abubakar, Abdullahi Abubakar and Musa Abdullahi.

The police had at the time of the incident arrested the suspects in connection with the murder and had immediately slammed a four-count charge of allegedly inciting disturbance, culpable homicide, joint act and mischief on them.

At the hearing of the case today, the Chief Magistrate, Muhammad Jibril, discharged the five suspects and terminated the case as advised by the attorney-general of Kano State.‎

Popular Ghanaian prophet accuses Ghanaian footballer Samuel Inkoom of using black magic to ‘kill’ careers of his rivals

Black Stars of Ghana/Antalyaspor of Turkey defender Samuel Inkoom has been accused by popular Ghanaian controversial prophet Kwaku Mensah Otabil of using black magic aka juju to 'kill the stars' of his fellow Ghanaian teammates who rival for his position.


According to prophet Kwaku, Inkoom, 27, is so addicted to negative spiritualism and he has helped the player in the past to cage the destinies of so many Black Stars players.


The audio message released on Metro FM, Kumasi, Ghana, on Wednesday from the 'Man of God' was addressed to the Technical director and the president of the Ghana FA, Oti Akenteng and Kwesi Nyantakyi respectively.

Prophet Kwaku said: “Hello Good afternoon coach Oti and elder Nyantakyi. Truth is one. The reason why I am saying this is that I want the Ghana FA officials to know something about Inkoom. Inkoom is a player that no one should try calling him back into the Black Stars. He is a player that will cause pandemonium in the Ghana camp. There will be confusion in the Black Stars. He is a liar.'

Woman gives birth to twins and names them Donald and Trump


A woman from South Carolina who made headlines when she gave birth to twin boys at Grand Strand Medical Center and named them Donald and Trump says she has no regrets for giving them those names. The proud mum said:

“We weren’t planning on naming them after Donald Trump at first, but it is clearly a divine sign that our next president shows up in our state on the day my little sunshines are born” explained Latifa Huxley, proud mother of the two. 
“Donald Trump is a bright and successful man with strong moral values that represents what America is all about.” she told local reporters, visibly emotional.

Janet Jackson plans to name her future son after her brothers

Janet Jackson is set to name her unborn son 'Micheal Brandon' in honour of her brothers, King of Pop, Micheal Jackson and Marlon's twin brother, Brandon, who died at birth. Janet Jackson's husband, Wissam Al Mana who is a Muslim, is in support of her decision as they have found a middle ground that won't compromise his Muslim traditions. It is reported that Micheal Brandon will be his middle name while his first name and last name will be Muslim names.

Recession is ordained by God, the only solution is to show piety and repent - Sultan of Sokoto




Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammad Sa'ad Abubakar III said the current recession in the country and other parts of the world is ordained by God.
The monarch stated this Wednesday, November 2nd, as activities for the commemoration of his 10th coronation anniversary commenced with the distribution of  items to widows, orphans and other indigents in the state. at a ceremony organised by the state Zakkat and Endowment Committee.
"The only solution to this is for us to show piety and repent. It is ordained by God" he said.
The Sultan also admonished Muslims and Christians to live their lives according to the dictates of their Holy Scriptures. He also appeal for more proactive measures to prevent the rising cases of kidnapping in the country.
