John Mikel Obi denies being injured ahead of Word Cup qualifier against Zambia

Chelsea and Super Eagles of Nigeria player John Mikel Obi has denied rumours making the rounds that he is injured, insisting he's fully fit and ready to help the Super Eagles start their World Cup 2018 qualifying campaign on a good start.
The crunch clash will take place at the Levy Nwanawasa Stadium against the Chipolopolo of Zambia and Nigeria will be hoping to start the qualifying campaign with a win.

"This is against nature,"- Pope Francis warns against teaching kids about Transgender identity in schools

Leader of the Catholic Church, Pope Francis has stated his disagreement with teaching kids in school about transgender issues. According to the Pope, teaching kids to change their sexual identity is a war against marriage, saying changing a kid's mentality on sexual identity in schools is 'ideological colonization'.
On Sunday, during a return flight to Rome at the end of a three-day trip to Georgia and Azerbaijan, the Pope talked about a meeting with a French man whose young son wanted to be a girl after reading about it in a textbook in school.
According to the Pope, he still spends time with Transgender people, trying to lead them closer to God.

A 26-year-old Nigerian national is on trial for trying to smuggle drugs into the United Arab Emirates.
According to local Arabic daily Al-Ittihad, customs official at Dubai International Airport screened a parcel addressed to the Nigerian man and discovered 223gms of heroin hidden inside a wooden statue.(pictured)

Donald Trump’s new D.C. hotel vandalized with ‘Black Lives Matter’ graffiti



Donald Trump’s newly opened luxury hotel in downtown Washington D.C. was defaced on Saturday with phrases “Black Lives Matter” and “No Justice No Peace”. Phrases often associated with the Black Lives movement .The words were spray-painted on either side of the grand doors leading into the Trump International Hotel, which opened in mid-September.
