Militants Attack NPDC Oil Installation In Delta State

A militant group named Niger Delta Greenland Justice Mandate, have attacked two oil installation owned by the Nigerian Petroleum Development Company NPDC at Owhrode community, Udu Local Government Area of Delta State. According to local sources, the attack occurred this morning at about 2am. NPDC maintenance team have arrived the scene of the attack to carryout repairs.

Lagos ranked world’s third Worst city to live in



Lagos state has been ranked the world's third worst city to live in. This is according to the 2016 World livability ranking released by the Economist Intelligence Unit yesterday Thursday August 18th. Out of 140 countries that was used during the survey, Lagos came 138th just above war-ravaged Tripoli and Damascus.

Photos: Electricity worker electrocuted today in Kano



A 37 year old official of the Kano Electricity Distribution Company [KERDCO], Usaini Usman, was electrocuted while disconnecting an electricity cable in Kano today August 19th. Usaini lost his life after his head made contact with a high tension power line at the Federal College of Education, Kano. He was rushed to the Murtala Mohammed Specialist Hospital where he was confirmed dead.
