Isis executes cross-dressing defector attempting to escape Syria while wearing women's clothes

The Islamic State (Isis) in Syria has reportedly executed one of its own fugitive fighters after he was arrested, dressed as a woman, trying to flee al-Mayadin city. The UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that the man had been wanted by the organisation for some time and was executed immediately after his arrest.

Factional leader of PDP and Chairman of the party's Caretaker committee, Ahmed Makarfi, has inaugurated the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the party. According to the Caretaker Committee Chairman, formal inauguration of the NEC was necessary to enlarge the decision-making organ of the party.  The inaugurated NEC members went into closed-door meeting shortly after his 5-minutes speech promising to brief the press after the meeting. 3 Kwara Pilgrims Arrested In Saudi Arabia Over Drug Trafficking

The Saudi Arabian authorities have arrested three pilgrims from Kwara for alleged possession of substance suspected to be cocaine.

Hajia Fatima Abolore-Jimoh, the Executive Secretary, Kwara Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, confirmed the arrest on Wednesday from Saudi Arabia in a telephone interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).
