Breaking: Former FIFA President Is Dead

Former FIFA President Joao Havelenge has died aged 100.
Havelenge was the President of the world football’s governing body (FIFA) from 1974 to 1998 before Sepp Blatter replaced him. He passed away in Samaritano Hospital in Rio de Janiero after been in and out of the hospital due to respiratory problems.

The Nigerian Basketball team's Twitter handle last night tweeted that Nigerian Basketball was on the rise and thanked Nigerians and well wishers for their support all through the year following their loss to Brazil and exit from Rio 2016.


A fan who didn't quite see how Our basket ball team had grown or was on the rise then tweeted at Nigerian Basketball's handle asking how the basketball had grown in the country and how many home based players did they take to Rio. Nigeria's basketball team then clapped back at the fan before other Twitter users joined in the conversation with some blasting the critic too.
