The Makarfi-led faction of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has affirmed that its convention in Port-Harcourt will hold despite a “reckless” court order stopping it.

Dayo Adeyeye, spokesman of the party on Monday said the convention would hold because a federal high court in Port-Harcourt had given a superior order for it to proceed.
