Pep Guardiola has beaten former club Barcelona to the signing of a second player after Manchester City landed Brazilian wonderkid Gabriel Jesus in a deal that takes the manager's summer spending past the £100 million barrier.
City have agreed to pay Palmeiras an initial fee of £27 million for the 19-year-old forward with a further £4.2 million payable in add-ons depending on his success at the Etihad Stadium.
