Nigerian woman's only child is stabbed to death in LA, cries out to the Public for help to find his killers (photos/video)



A Nigerian woman's only son was stabbed to death in Northridge, Los Angeles, California and a relative to the woman is claiming that the police is not doing anything about it. ABC news reports 21-year-old Jamal Oladapo, a Birmingham High School graduate and student at L.A. Film School, was found stabbed to death in the underground parking garage of the Merridy Village apartment building.

Jamal who lived at home with his mother, was studying to become a producer and also helped his mother with their family business.

Michael Obi's son, born John Michael Nchekwube Obinna, was accidentally re-christened at the U17 FIFA World Cup in 2003 when his own country submitted his name as "Mikel" instead of "Michael".  Michael liked the sound of Mikel, so Michael became Mikel.
It's unclear when the Obinna was changed to just Obi, or how those naming conventions all work out, but when Mikel joined Chelsea in 2006, he came to be known as John Obi Mikel.

The largest buyer of America's most expensive weapons program just declared it ready for war.
"I am proud to announce this powerful new weapons system has achieved initial combat capability," US Air Force Gen. Herbert "Hawk" Carlisle, commander of Air Combat Command, said on a call with reporters.
